1. Who are we?

uGather (“we”, “us” or “our”) is committed to protecting the privacy of personal information (i.e. any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person) who visit the https://www.ugather.co.uk website (the “Website”) and uGather mobile software application (the “App”) and use the services available thereon (the “Services”). We are dedicated in our mission to shake up fundraising for charities, participants, and donors. Delivering fresh fundraising methods that revolutionise giving and help everyone to maximise their impact.

We are committed to protecting your privacy and will only use the information that we collect about you lawfully. This policy is intended to give you an understanding of how and why we use the information you provide to us.

uGather operates in the UK. This Policy applies to our collection and use of your data in connection with our service. You can contact us via [email protected] or by using our contact form.

2. What are my rights?

If granted by applicable laws, you can exercise a variety of rights regarding our use of your data:

  • You can ask us to delete your data.
  • You can ask us to restrict the processing of your data.

To exercise any of the foregoing rights, send us an email to [email protected]. Please note that some of these rights may not be enforceable in your jurisdiction and some aren't absolute—for example, we may not be able to delete all your data if we have to keep some of your data to comply with the law. But we'll evaluate your request per applicable data protection laws. We will respond to your request within one month of receiving it. Also, note that if you're located in the UK, you have the right to complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office at https://ico.org.uk.

For charities that are to become our customer:
We collect personal data about your staff, directors, beneficial owners or trustees and beneficiaries (whatever applicable) for a number of reasons, including communicating with you, responding to requests for information and for identification and verification purposes arising out of our legal obligations.
